Review: Austin's Rooftop Restaurant

If you are trying to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and don't particularly want to queue for a table, then Austin's Rooftop Restaurant is definitely the option for you.

Lunchtime favourites, such as their excellent lasagne, are prepared and served hot directly, with no waiting, which is always a bonus if you have been trawling through the shops all day and just want some yummy food and have a seat.

With quite a spacious area you will have no difficulty finding a seat. My preference is always beside the window looking out on city life as everyone passes by below. Austin's restaurant is at the top of Ireland's oldest department store, which in itself is quite amazing. The restaurant is very accessible to all by its stairs and also by elevator.

Similar to the clothing levels, there is a very casual, relaxed yet stylish atmosphere complete with a children's corner. Austin's is very family friendly, offering juice boxes and kids meals. Although, they do not offer a student discount, you may find more affordable places to eat out, but you won't gain the same atmosphere, or view.

So if you are out hitting the shops this Easter, take a break and head over to Austin's for their Easter Basket and tea for only £2.50.

Student Review: ££ Affordable, comfortable atmosphere and food.
